Improvements to Seven Stations and Line Structure Rehabilitation; West End Line (BMT) Borough of Brooklyn In August 2009, a joint venture of Judlau Contracting and Citnalta Construction Corp. began work on this $88 million project. The job involves the rehabilitation of approximately three miles of elevated line structure, a major rehabilitation of one station, and moderate rehabilitation of six stations. The work includes platform edge repair and modifications, as well as the installation of new wind screens and stairs at each station. The Bay Parkway station will also undergo major historical renovations. There have been no major structural improvements to this section of the West Side Line since 1914. Upon completion, all seven of the stations will be fully ADA compliant.
